About restaurant

The name of restaurant Sklad №5 has a reason behind it. In previous century it used to be a warehouse of colonial goods and one of the best wine cellars in Europe.
Sklad №5 interior is Art Nouveau inspired. Tailor-made armchairs and sofas with textile upholstery of refined colors and artificially worn-out tables accentuate the atmosphere of the early XX century. The walls were left untouched during the renovation, only a bit refreshed. Antique curbstones, a table for making home pasta and meat slicers which stand in the center, were bought in Italian antique shops. The wine cellar remained at the same place as a hundred years ago.
The menu includes Russian, European and Asian cuisine. A special place is allocated for Russian pickles following the recipe of Eliseevy Merchants and so-called “colonial” pickles which stand on shelves right in the restaurant. A particular highlight of the restaurant is a dessert menu from Michelin-starred French Pastry Chef Dimitry Esposito.
